Not a bad car at all! - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By jourdanrose - October 16 - 10:00 amThe pick up on highways is awful! City driving is just fine. My very tall children fit quite nicely in the back seat and the drivers seat is spacious and comfortable. I have the v6 model and the gas milage is average. I also purchased the full 10/100,000 warranty and for a single mom it gives me peace of mind.

Not Impressed! - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By jime - May 29 - 2:00 amMy significant other bought this vehicle. I can not drive it! The steering is stiff and hard to handle... seems like it has no power steering... I need that. I get back aches from the seats... seems like there is no lateral support for my back and bottom, as I slide side to side in the seats, and my back side is not small...

Santa Fe - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By undecydedd - March 31 - 10:00 amMy husband was broadsided by another SUV that weighed 2000 lbs more than our Santa Fe, that was traveling at about 50 mph. The Santa Fe flipped from the impact, spun 180 degrees and landed on its wheels. My husband walked away from this accident. He had nothing broken, literally not even a scratch. The only injury was the soreness from the airbags and the force of the impact. I would recommend the Santa Fe to anyone based on the fact that my husband is still here with me. I appreciate the fact that Hyundai includes standard side air bags in their vehicles. The quality of the Santa Fe saved a life.

3.5 GLS Santa Fe 2004 - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Ken Bider - March 31 - 10:00 amIve had nothing for the dealer to repair. Im seriously handicaped and I selected the particular car to address my needs - good choice. The initial throttle response is a little touchy. Exellent initial quality. I cant speak to down-the-road quality since Ive only had the car about a month.

2003 santa fe 3.5 awd - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By pss - January 27 - 10:00 amVehicle has very slight lag on initial acceleration to about 2200rpm and then its very good. Ride is firm- seating very comfortable. Slight reflection of dashboard in windshield and of rear brake light under some lighting conditions. Gas mileage about 13 mpg under suburban non highway driving. Engine smooth- trans shifts smooth and not overly active.

So far so good!! - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By John Wolfe - January 15 - 2:00 amMy lovely wife and I have just recently invested in a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV. Its been almost a month now, and I havent heard a peep from her regarding our current conveyance issues. While considering what Ive endurred in the last year and a half; what with her constantly wearing her elbow out on my ribs and also putting unnecessary mileage upon my backside via her sneaker; I MUST SAY THAT... I AM PLEASED. Thanks for providing me an opportunity to vent my appreciation!! John Wolfe Orlando, Florida

My Santa Fe - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Monica K. - December 31 - 4:40 amThis is one of the most reliable vehicles I have owned. I was in a horrible crash (T-bonedI was doing 40 she was 20, I did not flip), and the other vehicle was totaled (front end torn off) my Santa Fe looked remarkable. A blown tire, dented (inside) door, and the axle. Other then that, I have replaced a few fuses. Thats it. I love driving it. Quick pick up, handles great around sharp corners, looks sharp on the outside, inside features easy to reach, comfortability OK.
